Operational Value

A biomass supply strategy designed for manufacturing realities

A factory boiler is part of the production system. Fuel inconsistency, delayed delivery, or unsuitable material can affect steam pressure, maintenance requirements, production stability, and total operating cost.

Optimizing Factory Operational Costs

Periodic biomass supply can reduce exposure to fossil-fuel price volatility. TISI helps buyers build a more predictable purchasing rhythm, product mix, and delivery plan so energy cost can be managed over a longer operating horizon.

Multi-Fuel Flexibility

Different boiler designs and steam loads require different combustion characteristics. TISI helps evaluate Palm Fiber, EFB Pellet, and PKS according to ignition behavior, burn duration, feeding system, storage limitations, and production demand.

Just-in-Time Supply Reliability

Through stockpile coordination, domestic logistics planning, and scheduled delivery, TISI supports a replenishment model that reduces the risk of boiler downtime caused by late arrival or insufficient biomass inventory.

Fuel Recommendation Framework

Match combustion behavior with boiler duty

The ideal fuel decision should consider boiler construction, steam capacity, pressure requirement, feeding mechanism, furnace dimensions, emission controls, available storage, and the manufacturer’s approved operating envelope.

Palm Fiber & EFB Pellet

Suitable for many small-to-medium industrial boilers that value faster ignition and responsive heat generation. EFB Pellet also offers a more uniform form factor for controlled handling and feeding where the system is properly configured.

  • Useful for variable production schedules
  • Supports responsive firing and load changes
  • Requires moisture control and clean storage

Palm Kernel Shell (PKS)

Recommended for boilers that require more constant and durable combustion. Its stronger energy density and stable burn profile can support continuous-duty operation when the grate, feeding system, air distribution, and ash handling are compatible.

  • Suitable for sustained firing and higher steam demand
  • Typical reference: moisture below 18% and ash below 3%
  • Typical size range: 5–40 mm, subject to contract

Initial Recommendation

EFB Pellet or Palm Fiber

For a lower-capacity fire tube boiler, a responsive fuel with manageable feeding characteristics is generally preferred.

Supply Continuity

Designed to reduce fuel-related production downtime

TISI coordinates sourcing, stockpile preparation, loading readiness, and domestic transport so each delivery supports your planned burn rate. The objective is to maintain an operational buffer between fuel consumption and the next scheduled arrival.

Consumption PlanningEstimate daily and monthly fuel demand from steam load and operating hours.
Stockpile CoordinationPrepare available volume according to the agreed specification.
Scheduled Domestic LogisticsAlign dispatch frequency, truck availability, and receiving windows.
Safety Stock DisciplineMaintain a reserve for weather, traffic, loading, or transport disruption.
